My wife Susan and I (of The Ravina Project) have noticed a huge expansion of green vehicles in and around our neighbourhood over the last five years. Just recently, several charging stations have been installed on Jones, with another one added on the western part of Chatham. When the Pocket Change Project’s work is added into this neighbourhood effort, it is clear that The Pocket has become a hotbed of green activities.
When it became clear to Pocket Change Chair David Langille that his home was contributing to climate change, he knew it was time for a deep retrofit. On part 1 of his journey, David shares his tips relating to the insulation work he began with and the quotes he got for his next stages.
