Let's hear it for our Changemakers!

Our Pocket Changemakers are making substantial individual and collective greenhouse gas emissions reductions, which adds up to significant climate-positive action for our neighbourhood, city, and climate.

Here are some statistics capturing their impact.

51	Total Changemakers - neighbours supported by Pocket Change and at various stages of home energy upgrades
41	Retrofit plans (roadmaps) completed
34	Electric heat pumps installed for heating and cooling, the most significant step towards reducing a home's emissions
23	Homes with significant building envelope improvements from new window and insulation upgrades
7	Homes with solar panels producing clean electricity
14	Gas water heaters replaced with air-source heat pump or electric water heaters
19	Gas stoves or dryers replaced with electric induction or electric appliances
11	Homes that are 100% electric! (no longer emitting fossil gas)

Note: A handful of our Changemakers began their retrofits before September 2021; the rest began since then.
