Let's hear it for our Changemakers!

Our Pocket Changemakers are making substantial individual and collective greenhouse gas emissions reductions, which adds up to significant climate-positive action for our neighbourhood, city, and climate.

Here are some statistics capturing their impact.

54	Total Changemakers - neighbours supported by Pocket Change and at various stages of home energy upgrades
36	Electric heat pumps installed for heating and cooling, the most significant step towards reducing a home's emissions
23	Homes with significant building envelope improvements from new window and insulation upgrades
7	Homes with solar panels producing clean electricity
15	Gas water heaters replaced with air-source heat pump or electric water heaters
21	Gas stoves or dryers replaced with electric induction or electric appliances
12	Homes that are 100% electric! (no longer emitting fossil gas)

Note: A handful of our Changemakers began their retrofits before September 2021; the rest began since then.
