Rally for Climate, Communities and Nature

This event has already taken place.

The Pocket Change Project is sharing this callout from Environmental Defence for a Climate Rally at Queen's Park.

Ontario’s environment needs you now.

Greenhouse gas emissions are rising, protections for nature are being dismantled, and mega projects are encroaching on communities.

On Saturday, May 14th, a huge coalition of climate and environmental groups is hosting a giant rally for climate, communities and nature at Queens Park, Toronto.

The Emergency in Ontario Rally will feature inspiring speakers, exciting performers and will be opened by elder Danny Beaton, Turtle Clan Mohawk of the Grand River Six Nations Territory – not to be missed.

Click attending on the Facebook event and invite all of your friends and family! We are hoping for a huge turnout to show this government and every provincial party that the environment is an essential issue for this election.

Not on Facebook? Share our Emergency in Ontario Rally website and sign up for an event reminder here.

Please bring your most creative signs! This is your chance to voice your hope for a cleaner, more sustainable future for Ontario – we want to see all the brightest colours and best slogans displayed for all Ontario politicians to see.
