The Pocket Change Project presents the fourth edition of our Eco Fun Fair!

Date: Saturday, June 17

Activities: 1:00 to 5:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated)

Pocket Change AGM: 1:30 - 2:00 pm

Big Tent Speakers: 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Location: Phin Park, The Pocket, 115 Condor Ave.

Free - everyone welcome. Come on out for a great afternoon with great talks under the Big Tent, a wide variety of eco exhibitors, activities for kids, delicious food, and more. Plus: learn about sustainable transportation options, reducing your home's carbon emissions through green retrofits, and other ways to support our climate - and each other!

Activities (1 to 5 pm unless indicated otherwise)

  • Kids Tent: Face painting. Crafts from the Toronto Wildlife Centre – plus come visit Hotdog the turtle!
  • Solar radio station
  • Mini bike tune-ups - by donation (1-4 pm)
  • Try an e-cargo bike! Demos by Happy Fiets (happyfiets.ca)
  • Bike Swap/Sale – bring and/or pick up some new wheels!
  • EV car display
  • Is your future electrifying? Find out (and say hi) at our Pocket Change table.
  • Tables from our local elected representatives
  • Tasty meals and treats from our BBQ and ALK Café (lots of delicious plant-based options)
  • Live Green Toronto Wheel of Fun!
  • Questions about home energy improvements? Ask the experts at Goldfinch Energy
  • Green Neighbours Network and Home Retrofit Forum (greening you home quiz with prizes!)
  • Sustainably-grown seedlings!
  • Repair Café – small appliances and jewellery edition (2-4 pm)
